The Intern

Well, here I am: The Intern. My name is Jessie, and I am a Utah State University student, interning here at Kinateder & Associates. I'm an interior design major, and am one year away from graduating.
I have been here 7 weeks now, and it is now time for me to go. Time has flown by too quickly. I am blown away by how much work this office gets. They are amazing at whipping out renderings, models, etc. and it leaves me quite intimidated. Plus, I am the only girl in the whole office besides Susan, but she's only here a few days out of the week. However, I knew I needed to jump in and keep my head above water. Everyone here is absolutely wonderful and always willing to answer my questions. It's easy to work with them, and they know how nervous I am. I have been having a blast learning new things and using the skills I have gained in school. I have been able to do so much and I still have so much to see! I would NEVER have been able to gain these new skills in my classes. I love it here at Kinateder. Rick has been gracious enough to help me with my sketching skills. They've improved vastly and it is a skill that can take me far.
I have thoroughly enjoyed my time here. It has been an amazing experience and I have loved getting to know the everyone here.
